Conference Goals This conference is conducted in accordance with the published Mission of NEA-BPD: To raise public awareness, provide education, promote research on borderline personality disorder, and enhance the quality of life of those affected by this serious mental illness, and to meet the specific goals of leading family education programs, promoting workshops, and sponsoring regional meetings.

Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) is a severe and generally chronic disorder that presents patients and their families and researchers with multiple challenges. These complex challenges will be addressed in order to inform mental health professionals, families, and consumers of current neurobiological research and treatment options.
Conference Description Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) is a severe and chronic disorder that presents researchers and clinicians, persons with BPD and their families with multiple challenges. In the context of neurobiological findings and their implications for treatment, the complexities of the disorder will be addressed at the 7th Annual National Education Alliance for Borderline Personality Disorder conference. The aim of the conference is to inform researchers, clinicians, mental health professionals, families, and consumers of the most current research and treatment options.
