This workshop is designed for
professionals, family members, and
consumers.
The combination of informational
components with inbuilt time for
questions will help people better
understand borderline personality
disorder.
This workshop will provide
information about the disorder and
related topics: diagnosis and
criteria; behaviors; medications;
primary care settings; pediatric
settings; impacts on family; impacts
on clients; research; course of
disorder |
Program Description
& Objectives: |
This
conference is specifically designed
to offer those whose lives are
affected by borderline personality
disorder (BPD), relatives,
consumers, and professionals, a
forum to better understand this
complex disorder from various
perspectives.
Internationally renowned
professionals and family members
will present up-to-date information
on key issues pertaining to many
aspects of the disorder, such as
diagnosis, treatments, medications,
symptoms of the disorder in
childhood, consumer and family
perspectives, personal and social
impact, and current research. At the
conclusion of this conference,
participants will have current
information on BPD. |

The College
of Physicians & Surgeons of Columbia
