www.ulifeline.org/ Site is directed at students and includes info about mental health issues and a screening tool for students to take themselves. About 1500 schools are registered which means that the site is populated with info specific to the school and their counseling services.
www.halfofus.com/ Site is a series of brief videos and public service announcements (they run on MTVu channel which is carried by a lot of colleges) about various mental health topics directed at young people. New series is on relationship breakups.
www.loveislouder.com/ Site was created after the Tyler Clementi suicide at Rutgers 2 years ago as a kind of social support group for young people struggling with mental health issues, loneliness etc. has a big facebook and twitter following among young people (more than 150,000 followers). It is broader in scope than the “it gets better” program which received more attention. Kids are able to blog, post videos of their own etc.
