Once considered untreatable, there are now evidenced-based, manualized treatments for this often misdiagnosed and misunderstood disorder. Current research shows that prognosis is hopeful, especially when patients are treated by professionals who have expertise in BPD. Training programs are available for clinicians and NEA.BPD and other organizations hold conferences to present research as well as the latest understanding of BPD and best practices to help those who have this illness. Videos of these presentations are accessible via this site and the NEA.BPD YouTube channel.
